In the smartwatch game, Pebble is arguably the most successful so far. It’s a success commercially and critically, breaking records in its Kickstarter campaign and getting approval and acclaim from consumers and critics alike. While the Pebble is widely accepted, some don’t like its plastic build and somehow playful design.
Thankfully, consumers will have more options now. Pebble just announced a steel-encapsulated version of the watch called Pebble Steel. The new watch will now have steel casing and reinforced with Gorilla Glass. It will be offered in stainless steel and matte black variants. If you don’t like the steel band, the Pebble Steel also offers leather straps. All the other features of the Pebble smartwatch have been retained, including the waterproofing and the one week battery life.
The Pebble Steel will be available for $249, which is quite expensive considering the $150 price of the original Pebble. The Pebble Steel is in very limited supply so if you want to order yours, do it now by hitting the source link below.
