Apart from the very lust-worthy Surface Book, Microsoft also announced the Surface Pro 4, the successor to the successful Surface Pro 3. It’s the same Surface Pro essentially but it has enough upgrades to make it the “pro” tablet to beat.
Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 Tablet
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes in at 8.4 mm and sports a 12.3-inch display with a pixel density of 267 ppi. The display supports 1,024 levels of pressure and works with a new Surface Pen that has an eraser.
The Surface Pro 4 is a beast in hardware specs, running on a sixth-generation (Skylake) Intel processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Storage is up to a whopping 1TB. All these specs only mean that the Surface Pro 4 is a total productivity device, especially since it runs on a full Windows 10 OS. The iPad Pro pales in comparison, although it may have another type of market altogether.
The new Surface Pro 4 pairs up well with the new Type Cover which is thinner and lighter.
The Surface Pro 4 starts with a price of $899 (about Php40,000 in Philippine peso) and will be available starting on October 26. Availability in the Philippines is not known yet.
