Acer Tab 7, a budget Android tablet priced at $100
The Android 4.2-running Acer Tab 7 is priced at $100, which could translate to about Php5,000 in the Philippines after tax. For this price, you get decent specs like a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, of 1GB RAM, 3MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, microHDMI port for TV-Out, 8GB of built-in memory expandable via microSD slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, microUSB port with OTG and 3.5mm audio jack. For battery life, the Acer Tab 7 should last long enough for basic use with its 3,000mAh battery.
Acer recently announced budget Android tablets like the Acer Iconia B1-720 and the Acer Iconia A1-830 with better specs but priced higher at $130 and $149, respectively.
