ZTE, like Huawei, is among the Chinese manufacturers that are really trying hard to get recognized in the hotly contested Android market. The latest announcement from ZTE involves the Grand Memo II LTE, an update to the original Grand Memo.
The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE packs a 6-inch HD display. This is quite big but there is surprisingly a market for big smartphones if Samsung’s Galaxy Note line is any indication. The internals of the ZTE Grand Memo II LTE are quite compelling. The main specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 3,200mAh battery, LTE radios, 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
This is the ZTE Grand Memo II LTE
The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) with MiFavor 2.3 UI. The ZTE Grand Memo II LTE will be available in April and will first launch in China and then Europe, North America and Asia Pacific will follow soon thereafter. The Philippines should hopefully be included in that schedule. For pricing, nothing has been said yet but if you know ZTE, the device should be priced affordably.
