The 6.4-inch Sony Xperia Z Ultra is a hit for Sony so it’s but natural for the company to offer something similar. Sony recently unveiled slightly smaller and slightly lesser versions of the Z Ultra and if specs are anything to go by, the new devices will also be cheaper when they hit the stores.
The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra Dual are 6-inch Android smartphones. They both pack LTE and as the naming scheme suggests, one has dual-SIM capability and the other offers single-SIM configuration. All the rest of the specs are the same on both devices. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra sports a 6-inch HD Triluminos display (216ppi) and runs on a quad-core CPU paired with 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage with expansion options via microSD card slot. It also packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.

What Sony removed from the Xperia T2 Ultra is dust and waterproofing, so that should lower the cost of manufacturing the device, and of course should also lower the price considerably.
