Sony is busy making phones. The company recently unveiled the Xperia Z1 Compact and the Xperia T2 Ultra. Now, rumors are saying that Sony will be releasing a mid-range smartphone called the Xperia G. There’s already a leaked image purporting to be the Xperia G and it shows a phone that looks just like the recent crop of Xperia phones. In short, it looks good.
Sources say the Xperia G will have a 4.8-inch display and feature LTE connectivity, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in memory and microSD card slot for expansion. Unlike the Xperia Z1 Compact though, the Xperia G will not be water or dust resistant.
The Sony Xperia G is expected to be officially announced during the MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Spain.
