Samsung is scheduled to unveil the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge flagship phones at Mobile World Congress but the Korean giant is apparently unable to put make the highly anticipated Android phone a closely guarded secret for as long as it wanted.
Photos of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have sprouted from tech blogs and it seems that the only thing missing at this point is the official confirmation from Samsung.
In any case here are photos of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge
The Samsung Galaxy S6 does not seem to veer away from the basic design elements of the Galaxy S line. It’s still recognizably Samsung but the side of the phone is not made of metallic material and in fact resembles the side of the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S6 us rumored to pack a 5-inch display and that is about all that can be said about the phone as of now.
The more interesting device of the twos is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge as it features a curved display. The edges are conspicuously curved from the leaked photos but it’s not clear whether the curved surface has special functions. On the Galaxy Note Edge, the curved display has some special use.
Here is a leaked Sprint promo photo of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge which confirms the design of the leaked images above.
In any case, the official unveiling is very close so we only have to wait a while to see the actual Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
