Samsung is scheduled to announce something at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 on February 24 and rumors strongly indicate that the Galaxy S5 will be among the new devices to be unveiled by the Korean phone maker. There is nothing confirmed about the Galaxy S5 but a recent leak that features an alleged retail box of the phone shows what the upcoming phone will offer.
The box shows that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a 5.25-inch QHD (2,560 x 1,600) Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM and a 20-megapixel rear camera. For processing power, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack quad-core 2.5GHz processor and 3GB of RAM. The Galaxy S5 will also 3,000mAh battery according to the box.
The retail box doesn’t show the appearance of the Galaxy S5 so the design is still a mystery at this point. Rumors say that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will have a metallic body which will be a departure from previous Galaxy S models.
