If you’re waiting for the pricing details of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the Philippines, it’s Php34,990 for the 16GB variant based on what Globe Telecom recently revealed.
Globe is the first to announce subscription plans and prepaid pricing for Samsung’s newest Android flagship. The official Samsung pricing is usually consistent with what local telcos declare so we should expect a similar Php34,990 handset price from Samsung. In comparison, the Galaxy S4 was priced at Php30,990 when it first launched in the Philippines. The Galaxy S5 pricing is quite prohibitive considering that the specs upgrade is incremental at best.
