The Galaxy Note8, Samsung’s best and latest, will soon be available in the Philippines. Arguably the best Android phone in the market right now, the Galaxy Note8 is a technological showcase for Samsung, having been fitted the latest innovations by the Korean tech giant.
Galaxy Note8 Retail Price
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a retail price of Php49,990, a price that appears to be justified considering the host of features offered. When compared to the expected P60,000 to P70,000 retail price for the iPhone X, the Galaxy Note8 easily looks like the better deal. If you’re an Android user and prefers the Android ecosystem over iOS, then there is really nothing to decide when picking between the Galaxy Note8 and the iPhone X. But that is another topic altogether.
If the Galaxy Note8 is the phone you are considering, there is an easy way to own one. Samsung has even made it easier for buyers to get the Galaxy Note8 by offering flexible and affordable payment terms. The installment terms currently being offered for the Galaxy Note8 are light on the pocket and you can choose between 24-month and 36-month payment terms.
If you are going to buy the Galaxy Note8 directly from Samsung Experience Stores, from September 29-November 30, 2017, you can buy the Galaxy Note8 under a 0% installment plan using local Citibank credit cards. The monthly payment of P1,389 per month is certainly affordable.
Another installment offer is for BDO and local Citibank credit cards. If you own any of these cards, you can avail of the Galaxy Note8 under a 24-month installment term at 0% interest. Spread over the term, the monthly payment will only be P2,083 per month with 0%. This offer from Samsung is valid until end of the year.
Galaxy Note8 Features
The Galaxy Note8 has been known for its intelligent S Pen which has now been further improved. New features for the S Pen include custom-made emojis and personalized GIFs for Live Messages and a Screen Off Memo that allows the user to write up to 100 pages of memo even when the screen is off. The S Pen also now makes it possible to get translations and currency conversion just by hovering your S Pen over the text.
Of course, the new Galaxy Note8 feature that photography enthusiasts will be happy about is its dual-camera system just like the iPhone 8’s. Both cameras have OIS which eliminates blurs from shaking.
Other notable features of the Galaxy Note8 are its Infinity Display, Bixby personal assistant and Samsung DeX which makes it possible to use the phone as a portable PC.
