Samsung has released pricing and availability details for the Galaxy J7+, the first non-flagship phone to feature a dual-camera set-up. Dual-cameras on phones are preferred by consumers nowadays because of the added capabilities the set-up brings like instant bokeh effects and just generally, better photos. Dual-cameras are available on expensive phones like the Galaxy Note 8 or the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. Now, however, you don’t have to fork a lot to be able to get the same experience.
The official pricing for the Galaxy J7+ in the Philippines is P19,990, which means that our guess in our earlier post about this phone was spot on.
Excellent Dual Camera Set-Up
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ has two rear cameras––one has a 13MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture lens and the other is a 5MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The two lenses are claimed to be capable of delivering professional-quality post-shot depth. The dual lenses on the Galaxy J7+ are also equipped with a Live Focus feature. This essentially allows the user to adjust the amount of blur or bokeh during and after taking a photo. For the selfie shooter, the Galaxy J7+ is quite generous with its 16MP f/1.9 selfie camera. This should be more than enough to deliver excellent selfie shots.
Specs are Impressive for the Price
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ has impressive specs for its P19,990 price tag. The Galaxy J7+ has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and packs a fast 2.39GHz Octa-Core processor and 4GB RAM. Its memory is expandable up to 256GB. It is powered by a huge 3,000mAh battery so it should last you through a day on a single charge.
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ will be available starting on October 14 at all Samsung Experience Stores and dealers nationwide. If you want to avail of installment options, you can opt for 0% interest for 9 month on Home Credit, or 0% interest for 12 months through credit cards.
