Chinese phone maker OnePlus has already revealed the details to its first ever Android smartphone to be called One. The company must be too attracted to the word one, using it both on its company name and its firs phone. The upcoming OnePlus One could very be called Two.
Kidding aside, the OnePlus One will have a 5-inch 1080p display. It will run CyanogenMod 11 based on Android 4.4 KitKat and will pack a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 3GB of RAM. The OnePlus One will be offered in 16GB and 64GB variants.
As to design, no images of the phone have been shown yet but company reps say it will be easy to handle with one hand even though it has a huge display. This is possible by designing the One to have a slim body, tapered edges and narrow bezels.
The OnePlus One will ship during the second quarter of 2014 and will be made available in 10 countries at launch. Hopefully the Philippines will also be on the list. Pricing is said to be under $400.
