After Samsung announced the Galaxy Round with curved display, it’s LG’s turn to flaunt its new curved-display Android phone. Called the LG G Flex, the phone has a 6-inch 720p curved display and runs on a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery. The LG G Flex weighs only 177g.
A curved display is actually hard to use and is only convenient for making calls as it hugs the face comfortably, in theory at least. The G Flex has rear control buttons just the LG G2. The back cover is self-healing, in the words of LG, as it auto-repairs hairline scratches in minutes.
There’s no word yet as to pricing and global availability. This should hit Philippine shores soon.
