Apart from the HTC Desire 816, the Taiwanese phone maker also revealed the lower end HTC Desire 610 at Mobile World Congress 2014.
The main specs of the HTC Desire 610 include a 4.7-inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 8GB of internal storage, microSD support up to 64GB, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, a front shooter with 1.3-megapixel sensor and a fixed 2040 mAh battery. The HTC Desire 610 also features BoomSound and BlinkFeed and runs Sense UI on top of Android 4.4 KitKat. The HTC Desire 610 supports LTE and nano-SIM just like its bigger brother.
Prices haven’t yet been announced but the HTC Desire 610 will begin rolling out in May across Europe while the Desire 816 will launch in China in March followed by a global launch in April.
There are no no pricing details at this point but release date has been set in May.
