Sol Republic just took the wraps off its new line of in-ear headphones called Relays. The Relays offer something quite interesting – an adjustable ring on the eartip that makes it fit perfectly on all sizes of ears. This technology is what Sol Republic calls FreefFlex.
The Sol Republic Relays are what the company calls cross-over earbuds as it is targeted at fitness enthusiasts and ordinary users. What makes it perfect for the active user is its being water and sweat resistant. The Sol Republic Relays also offers volume controls, a microphone and a call button. If you worry about how the Sol Republic Relays will sound, the promo says it “delivers full sound with balance and details that bring out the best in any type of music.” Of course a promotional line makes a product sound like it’s the best one around. But it could also be true. A review is the only way to find out if it’s true. The Sol Republic Relays ear tips are offered in four different sizes and are replaceable for life.
For pricing, the Sol Republic Relays aren’t that expensive. They are priced at $79.99 and will be available in February 2014.
