Samsung has its Galaxy Android smartphones and tablets but it’s still very much in the camera game. The newest addition to its camera line-up is the NX Mini, a mirrorless camera.
The Samsung NX Mini is only 22.5mm thick and only weighs 158g. It’s therefore small and light and extremely pocketable. It has a 3-inch flip up screen so it can handle those selfie shots very well. The Samsung NX mini has Dropbox and Flickr integration. It also has great connectivity options including Wi-Fi and NFC.
The Samsung NX Mini uses a 1-inch BSI sensor with 20.5MP resolution and has a shutter speed of 1/16,000s with 6fps continuous shooting. The Samsung NX Mini can also capture 1080p videos at 30fps. Samsung also announced three new lenses to go with the small form factor: the 9mm f/3.5 ED, 9-27mm f/3.5-5.6 ED OIS and 17mm f/1.8 OIS.
The Samsung NX mini mirrorless camera is priced at $450 with the 9mm kit lens or $550 with the 9-27mm lens.
