The Devices and Services arm of Nokia has officially been transferred to Microsoft. This means future Lumia phones will be coming from Microsoft, not Nokia. The transfer of Nokia’s mobile business has also necessitated the appointment of a new CEO.
Nokia is now headed by Rajeev Suri. He is stepping into the shoes previously worn by Stephen Elop.

The official designation of Rajeev Suri is President and Chief Executive Officer and he takes office in such capacity starting May 1, 2014. Under his leadership, Nokia plans to be a leader in technologies important in a connected world and it aims to achieve this by building on Nokia’s three strong businesses in networks, location and technologies.
Nokia will focus on its Networks business, formerly known as Nokia Siemens, and on its Here mapping services.
