PlayStation Messages App Launched for iOS and Android

Sony just released a messaging app.  Before you say that there are already too many messaging apps around, you may want to know that the new one from Sony is PlayStation-related.

The PlayStation Messages, as the messaging app is called, is dedicated to PlayStation users, although there is nothing that would prevent others from using the app.  In a sense, PlayStation Messages is a companion to the PlayStation app which I’m sure, gamers will gladly welcome.

PlayStation messages will require the PlayStation app to work, so that would mean there is a need for a PSN account.  As to features, PlayStation Messages lets users see who’s online and has the ability to send voice messages, text and stickers to individual friends or to a group which accommodates up to 100 players.

PlayStation Messages is now available for download on iOS and Android.
