Google recently launched a dedicated Camera App. The app is now available for download from the Play Store so if you’re too excited to try it out rather than read the rest of the content of this post, go ahead and click on the download link at the bottom of the post.
The new Google Camera brings a host of new features but the most notable is Lens Blur. This new feature is emphasizes the subject while blurring the background. This gives a DSLR-like effect on shots as the camera app allows adjustment of the depth-of-field or bokeh. In the same way that cameras from Lytro and Nokia allow users to change the focus, Google Camera also lets users tinker with the focus of your shots.

Apart from Lens Blur, the new Google Camera has improved panorama shots with higher resolution, Photo Sphere for 360-degree shots, and an improved viewfinder.
Google Camera is now available on the Play store and is compatible with phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat.
